Aging is a Choice: My Story

Until I was 28, I was extremely skinny—just bones, no muscle. But I was at my peak physically—practicing and teaching yoga, and training in Capoeira, my favorite martial art.

For five years, Capoeira transformed my body. I gained strength and muscle, finally feeling like a fit, strong woman. But despite being so active, something felt off. My body was sending signals:

  1. Sudden evening exhaustion, sometimes mid-Capoeira class.
  2. Unhealthy weight gain—bloating and sluggishness.
  3. My face looked dull, puffy, and sagging.

I couldn’t understand why I felt so low despite being active. People started noticing too, asking why I looked tired and bloated. I began avoiding cameras, hating my pictures. I knew something was wrong.

So, I started researching. That’s when I found Face Yoga.

Initially, it was an experiment. But within weeks, my face had a glow. Within months, it became firmer, lifted, and more sculpted. More than just exercises, Face Yoga opened my eyes to the deeper connection between our lifestyle and how we age.

I learned how lymphatic drainage, fascia release, posture, nutrition, sleep, and stress impact not just our faces but our entire well-being. The results were so profound that I knew this was more than just a passing interest—it was my new passion. I trained under pioneers in Face Yoga and became an internationally certified expert. But my learning didn’t stop there—I continue exploring everything related to health and aging.

Having gone through this transformation myself, I understand the struggles with body image and confidence. In today’s world of instant filters and impossible beauty standards, many turn to invasive procedures like Botox and plastic surgery. But do they bring true confidence, or just create dependence on artificial fixes?

What if there was a natural way to look fresh, radiant, and youthful—without external interventions? A method that not only tones and lifts the face but also reduces stress, improves posture, and tackles the root causes of aging.

Well, there is. Face Yoga is not a trend—it works. And I don’t say this lightly. I don’t follow fads. I share what I truly believe in, and I (along with my students) am living proof of its transformative power.

Just like working out and eating right can sculpt your body, Face Yoga strengthens and lifts your facial muscles. Yet, the face—our identity—is often the most neglected part of our body.

So here I am, sharing my journey of reclaiming confidence and helping others do the same. Today, I am the face of my company, and I can confidently stand in front of the camera and be proud about it.

So, if you’ve ever looked in the mirror and felt disconnected from your reflection, know that change is possible. I found my way, and I hope you find yours too.
